Wow!!! May 1st...That is late for those of us needing to make a decision by tomorrow...Does anyone know how much UH program is going to cost?

Just got off the phone with the department and all I could get was that "the latest you should hear back is May 1st." and that if I don't hear anything by then I should call them...was really hoping for something sooner since the deadline for most places is tomorrow

People have received rejection emails.. But now where are the acceptance emails coming?! Hoping for the best for everyone!

I wasn't wait listed. It was actually the first communication I had with them since submitting the application back in January. The email said they had only 16 spots available and over 130 people applied for them.

FINALLY got an email from them today, just two days before ASHA's deadline. So disappointed in their lack of timeliness. Thankfully, I got into another school that works better for me, so it doesn't even matter. Good luck to everyone who was waiting though!

I guess we'll hear back after the 15th even though people have already made their decisions and told them. I think a previous poster said she called or emailed and they said she should hear something by the 18th. Good luck!!!! I wonder if accepted students have already started a facebook page?????

Most people have made their decisions and are committed to a school already. Is there an exact date that we should hear back by?

I just got off the phone with the CD department for the University of Hawaii and they said they are no NOT informing students of their decisions until May 1st. I specifically asked "because it is taking so long to hear back does that mean my application was placed on your waitlist" and she said no. That they are waiting to inform students until the May 1st. UGGGGHHHHHHH

Has anyone heard from this dept as of yet? I initially submitted my transcripts & rec letters & then they extended their deadline so I took more time to complete the rest of the app. Their dept reached out & emailed me to check in and let me know what they received and what they were still waiting for which I took as a good sign that they were interested? I haven't heard from them since I submitted the rest of my app which is causing me to freak out a little.

I was also interviewed in February. It seems like many people were interviewed which is scary! Good luck to everyone!

I wonder why they are waiting so late??? I think I read where 2 people have already been accepted. Are they waiting for students who have no acceptances anywhere to automatically accept their offer!!! Hmmm!!!

To the poster below: it was just a document that could not be opened.. I'm not really sure what it meant but it was a spam email they said. I know someone else who received the same email too. Just wondering if it happened to more people.. Thanks!

To poster below: they told me I would hear something by the end of March also...I wish they would hurry up. I thought students had to let schools know their answers by April 15th...I hate this process!
