Just wondering if there are other Ottawa ECE applicants still waiting to hear back. I contacted the department a while back and they said evaluation was still in progress.

Applied Round 2. Received email that application is "under review" on 3/5. It's still "under review"...status unchanged. No interview invite, either. Emailed admissions...no response. I have 7 yrs work exp in industry. Unsure what's going on...

Lack of publications hurt me a lot ! 4th rejection in a row. I hate life :(

Had an interview with a prof. outside of my specified area of interest in Jan. Very friendly, but tough to be interviewed by because our interests didn't match at all. Very strong project-based background, over a year of internship experience, but no research experience or publications. Also suspect average GRE scores played a part in the rejection.

Is there anyone who got UIUC masters in ECE admission for Fall'19?

No surprise -I rejected an interview request in March since I had already accepted another offer. They shouldn’t have been this late!

I had accidentally applied to the wrong program, so it caused delay in admissions, but still got admit for Fall 2019. Undergrad in Chemical engineering. Good luck all, many schools seem to be very late this cycle.

Has anyone heard back from the admissions department or contacted them for PhD admissions in Engineering (ECE in my case)? If you have been accepted/rejected/wait-listed for the Phd in Engineering please tell us how your process reached that decision. I can see that there are many of us that have not received any kind of update in our applications. I understand that by waiting this long our chances might be low but I still need to know the official statement... Thank you all for reading and supporting the community
