To the person who posted about applying with a 3.5 GPA: The minimum for consideration is 3.3, which you exceed, though exceeding does not guarantee admission. I believe there is significant weight attributed to an applicant's personal statement and how your experiences/interests align with the mission of SPPG, learning objectives of the MPP program, courses and (perhaps) the research interests of faculty. Conduct thorough research (takes months but well worth it) of the aforementioned things, ensure your volunteer experience reflects your interests and passion, and make sure you discuss the mandatory internship component in your SOI (for me, I mentioned how it sets SPPG apart from other programs in Ontario). Tip: Make mention of specific courses and faculty member(s) whom you hope to study under - this shows why SPPG in specific is the school that offers the most comprehensive program relative to your interests/career goals. Waiting took less than a month (probably because I submitted the application late). Submitted application on 4/18 and received unconditional offer of admission on 5/8 via email. Checked website on the same day and saw that the status was updated to 'admitted'. Was told to wait for the offer booklet that was sent on 5/3 for further instructions. **Background: from criminal justice undergrad in NY, two internship experiences (research assistant & NGO), strong GPA & SOP (already have a pretty concrete research topic in mind & took more than 3 months to prepare for SOP)

I was notified on 5th of April. Still no news from PSE. Date of notification in my previous post is wrong due to mm/dd/yyyy type of date

I posted on here a few weeks ago (got my email saying my application was being reviewed on Nov 30th). Got a rejection email on May 4th. It sucks but at least now I know what I can focus on for the future. Also kind of glad I don't have to incur more OSAP debt. For those still waiting, give it time, you will hear back. Those have been accepted to APE M1 and have better offers, please reject the offer as soon as possible and do a favour to those on the waitlist. PSE is my dream school and I have no alternative because of financial difficulties.

Sigh. Not surprising, since I applied from outside Ontario with a 3.5 GPA and not as much relevant experience as other candidates. I'm going to work on my volunteer experience and try again next year.

Expected, but still disappointing. Oh well.
