University scholarship so received top-tier funding (comparable to @top 5). Background: undergrad at a reputable school, no predoc, only summer research + thesis, straight As in all math up to real analysis. Have declined offers and withdrawn apps from other schools including Emory, Duke, Northwestern, Georgetown. Liked and aimed for Vanderbilt from first day; already accepted offer. Good luck everyone!

Emailed for being waitlisted. It starts with a very weird beginning of "Congratulations!" I mean you are waitlisting me and what is good about that? Safety school anyways, got much better choices and will decline soon. Good luck guys.
