University scholarship so received top-tier funding (comparable to @top 5). Background: undergrad at a reputable school, no predoc, only summer research + thesis, straight As in all math up to real analysis. Have declined offers and withdrawn apps from other schools including Emory, Duke, Northwestern, Georgetown. Liked and aimed for Vanderbilt from first day; already accepted offer. Good luck everyone!
