Accepted and no funding offered. Will be declining as I have a fully funded MA opportunity. I did have experience abroad, museum experience and digitial humanities experience as well.

Received email to check website. No word on funding yet. Research studentships notifications are expected in June. Fingers crossed. Congrats to those admitted and best of luck to all others

Meh. Was interviewed and kind of got a weird vibe. If I get off the waitlist I'll consider it, but no longer my top choice.

Informal email that said they don't have a spot for me. Earlier response to my email inquiry said their budget was delayed, whatever help that may serve to future applicants.

Received email attachment Attached is your decision letter for the Performance Studies PhD Program. I figured since the accepted students were notified and the department administrator said that if we were receiving his email last week that we were not accepted.

So happy and so glad to finally hear! Thinking of those still waiting, it was rough. (Conditional offer upon graduating BA with 4.0)

Was on the wait list, but all other students accepted the offer. Knew it was a slim chance because you'd have to be a fool to turn down this offer! It was an honor to even be on the waitlist for this program.

They'll look at my app alongside applicants for the March 11th deadline.

Stipend of $26854, full tuition scholarship, waiver of registration fees/etc for the first year. Totally my dream school, so excited!

I'm a curator and a performance artist myself. I've performed alongside Vaginal Davis. I've also been running an artist collective/non-profit while doing my master's for two years. And I had letters from scholars that are solicited to publish in journals like TDR. But it's cool. I got into a better-fitting program. Non-NYU PS Master's students...save your money. They let in one person who didn't do their master's there maybe every five to eight years. It's very unlikely it'll be you who becomes the exception that proves the rule. And if they let you inthe master's...it'll likely be without funding. Amazing program...but might be an exercise in academic venture capitalism.

After getting the run around for a couple of months I finally got my rejection. 4.0 in both undergrad and master's GPA. It's cool though. No gender studies/women's studies/feminist studies programs wanted me but I was accepted into an American Studies program with a 5 year fellowship. Much happier there.

Is it safe to assume that we won't hear anything back today then? Monday it is? (hopefully!)
