- I'm a curator and a performance artist myself. I've performed alongside Vaginal Davis. I've also been running an artist collective/non-profit while doing my master's for two years. And I had letters from scholars that are solicited to publish in journals like TDR. But it's cool. I got into a better-fitting program. Non-NYU PS Master's students...save your money. They let in one person who didn't do their master's there maybe every five to eight years. It's very unlikely it'll be you who becomes the exception that proves the rule. And if they let you inthe master's...it'll likely be without funding. Amazing program...but might be an exercise in academic venture capitalism.
