Rejected after being waitlisted.

I have not heard about my application, even though I was told in March they inform on the decision. Is anyone else waiting on a response from OISE?

Poster Below: I've also been waitlisted. They probably asked for your final transcript to see how you did in your final semester. What is your CPGA and work experience like?

Have been on the waitlist for about a month now, wondering if anyone else is on the waitlist. I was asked to send in my final transcript to admissions via email when I inquired about my status. Can't tell if this is a good sign or not...I'm hoping I will know soon what the outcome of my application will be.

Has anyone gotten any emails from them? (MEng) I know they want me to send them a hard copy of my transcript, but the current status is still under consideration and also is it a good sign or just another process?

To the poster below, Thank you! All I have received so far is the email from the civil department telling me I've been accepted. I submitted my preliminary acceptance of the offer on Friday but have yet to receive the official offer letter.

To the person who posted about applying with a 3.5 GPA: The minimum for consideration is 3.3, which you exceed, though exceeding does not guarantee admission. I believe there is significant weight attributed to an applicant's personal statement and how your experiences/interests align with the mission of SPPG, learning objectives of the MPP program, courses and (perhaps) the research interests of faculty. Conduct thorough research (takes months but well worth it) of the aforementioned things, ensure your volunteer experience reflects your interests and passion, and make sure you discuss the mandatory internship component in your SOI (for me, I mentioned how it sets SPPG apart from other programs in Ontario). Tip: Make mention of specific courses and faculty member(s) whom you hope to study under - this shows why SPPG in specific is the school that offers the most comprehensive program relative to your interests/career goals. Has anyone heard back (accepted/rejected) from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health re MPH in Epidemiology? I'm still under review at SGS.
