Has anyone received any interview invitation already? If so, please post it.

Someone pinch me!

TTPB from MIT: would you mind sharing the initials of the POI? thanks a lot and congratulations

TTPB: would you like to share the area?

I received an email from the EECS department head about the acceptance. Wow!

Anyone heard back from the program?

Different person, but also had an interview with a professor in the NLP group, but no email :(

Thanks man. Was your Prof. in the NLP group? I had an interview last week but no email. :(

Have been very upset already when I knew I was not invited to the interview, so pretty calm when I read this update from the application website. MIT is hard anyway. Formal rejection letter will be sent out by March 9.

Any ideas on how to prepare for the technical aspect of the interview?

Sort of expected. I had an interview on Jan 17. The POI said that another professor is retiring next year so he is taking his students but was interviewing me for the grad committee. They only have 2 people in reactor physics (1 of them is retiring). High grad and undergrad GPA, 8 journal publications in strong journals (3 first author), 7 conf papers and abstracts, h-index: 6, and several independent projects with nearly $700k in revenue.
