- Sort of expected. I had an interview on Jan 17. The POI said that another professor is retiring next year so he is taking his students but was interviewing me for the grad committee. They only have 2 people in reactor physics (1 of them is retiring). High grad and undergrad GPA, 8 journal publications in strong journals (3 first author), 7 conf papers and abstracts, h-index: 6, and several independent projects with nearly $700k in revenue.
