I'm an international student applied for MS/PhD. I submitted my application in November, but since then no interview, no notification no nothing from school. I don't know if other accepted PhD people below are PhD or MS/PhD. Do we assume rejection at this point? I haven't contacted any professors tho.

Has anyone here who has applied for the M.S/PhD program received any information about their application? Interview call or acceptance or rejection letter or something? This is for both American and International.

3 yrs of research, 2 publications

Applied for Masters to Atlanta campus, offered GT-Lorraine but no official rejection from Atlanta yet. They say they are reviewing my application at Atlanta. Anyone with a similar notification? I hope this is not a soft rejection already.

To the admitted Berkeley PhD poster below, did you contact POI before getting the admission and would you like to share your grades?

Does anyone know where to check which degree I applied to? I was sure I'd applied for an MS but I've read about there being no terminal MS degree. Only MS/PhD option is available it seems. Has anyone gotten an MS admit because everyone seems to be posting about M.Eng

Was hopeful but meh... "After careful consideration of your application, I'm sorry to inform you that the Graduate Studies Committee did not approve your admission to the program. In light of a highly competitive applicant pool, your application was not as competitive as others the committee reviewed."

I got the admit letter back in February but no information about funding/guide. Mailing the department got me a very vague reply about "Admission doesn't guarantee funding......" and also a very questionable footnote saying :"*The Master of Engineering degree is a self-funded program. Departmental assistantships and fellowships will not be awarded to MEng students." Which is strange because I specifically mentioned PhD in my mail. Anyone have any better information?

Hey guys! Recieved the admission letter yesterday, and have to make the decision in one week with $2500 deposit. well it's a dilemma to choose it between Columbia and UC San Diego. Even if money isn't a big problem. I personally prefer CA, cause it has a better weather, and maybe for it may provide more research oppurtunities and job oppurtunities. However, Columbia has a higher reputation no matter in USA or in China. Is it worth to spend more money for a master degree in Engineering to go to Columbia? Does anyone have some suggestions?

Got a letter in the email saying I am accepted with 50% tuition scholarship. Later received an email saying there has been some mistake and I will be receiving another letter of acceptance after he receives clarification on specific support -_-. I hope it doesn't mean there is no scholarship anymore.
