- Hey guys! Recieved the admission letter yesterday, and have to make the decision in one week with $2500 deposit. well it's a dilemma to choose it between Columbia and UC San Diego. Even if money isn't a big problem. I personally prefer CA, cause it has a better weather, and maybe for it may provide more research oppurtunities and job oppurtunities. However, Columbia has a higher reputation no matter in USA or in China. Is it worth to spend more money for a master degree in Engineering to go to Columbia? Does anyone have some suggestions?
