Has anyone heard from the History department, formally or informally?

I have been waitlisted with an email that says "University’s formal offer letter will follow in the coming days," but I have not received anything so far other than a pdf file that describes what happens when I get accepted. Seems like admitted students have received formal offers with some info on visit day events but I have received none. Has anyone waitlisted received an email about visit day?

I received an email from Hanne Jacobs at 4:30pm; she says I’m at the top of the wait list.

0a/0w/2r/15p. Received email with a formal letter saying my doctoral application was referred to MAPSS where I was accepted. Earlier posts suggest this is an implicit rejection for the PhD program. I will not likely take the offer due to my path, but I'm sure it's helpful for others!
