- "Thank you for applying to the Classics Department’s doctoral program in the Division of the Humanities at the University of Chicago. Given the limited number of spaces available in our PhD program, our Department cannot offer you admission into our PhD class. Nonetheless, our faculty admissions committee was enthusiastic about your application and we would recommend that you consider submitting an application to the Master of Arts Program at the University of Chicago Divinity School."
