They let me know they were only able to accept 10. I am 10th on the wait list.

e-mail said "All other Audiology applicants will remain on the wait list. " wondering if there was no rejection letter but everyone got wait listed... if 150 peoeple appied there will be more than 100 wait listed people????? confused...

To the poster who was rejected from Illinois State SLP, was this from Univeristy of Illinois, or Illinois State? I had called yesterday to ask when a decision was to be made, but they said possibly another week to 10 days.

Accepted via e-mail to the SDSU/UCSD joint Doctoral program in Audiology.

I got the provisional email on the 19th from the department and the "official" email on the 23rd from the Graduate College. This official acceptance was in a link given in the portal. In the email, the graduate college said to go log in where I applied to view my admission status. Did this on Monday 23rd of February, so 4 days after the unofficial/provisional acceptance from the department of speech and hearing science. Hope this clears things up. What an ordeal. The open house is March 13.

Said I was reject to the SLP program not audiology. Anyone else have this problem?

Hey guys. On 2/23, I received an email from the graduate college to check the portal for admission decision. On February 19, I got an email from the department of speech and hearing science at Illinois stating the "provisional" acceptance: Congratulations, the Admissions Committee at the University of Illinois has recommended that you be accepted into our Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program for the 2015-2016 academic year. Our Audiology program is highly competitive so you were selected from a group of highly qualified applicants. We are considered an excellent AuD program with highly regarded faculty. This is a provisional recommendation that is forwarded to the Graduate College at the University of Illinois. All official offers of admission come from the Graduate College. In the near future, an official offer of admission will be sent to you directly from the Graduate College via Email. You will be required you follow a link in order to ACCEPT or DECLINE the offer of admission. The deadline for your decision is April 15, 2015. I think AuD acceptances have already been sent out...
