Admitted with RAship. What an emotional roller coaster.

Ignore “interview”. Has anyone heard from them? And do they conduct interviews or send out admissions directly?

I had an interview with DGS and a faculty on Jan 31, but still get no response from them. Does anyone have the same situation?

Received email that I wasn't included in the general school funding package, but that my application was favorable and would be circulated among faculty members who may have independent funding to support a PhD. Or that they would be in touch if any funding becomes available (I assume this is the waitlist part of - if someone else rejects the offer and slots are available?). Maybe this is just what they tell everyone? So somewhere between a rejection/waitlist? A bit vague, so don't know what to think to be honest.

Happy about this acceptance! I did undergrad in Sustainable Food and Farming at UMass, ended with a 3.55 GPA, and spent the last two years farming vegetables. Unsure if I will accept or not, but wanted to provide this info for a future applicant who anxiously looks for other food studies people like I did ;)

Reached out to [email protected] and received an automatic response which indicated 'Admission decisions should start being released in late February' - i.e. pretty much any day now!
