- Received email that I wasn't included in the general school funding package, but that my application was favorable and would be circulated among faculty members who may have independent funding to support a PhD. Or that they would be in touch if any funding becomes available (I assume this is the waitlist part of - if someone else rejects the offer and slots are available?). Maybe this is just what they tell everyone? So somewhere between a rejection/waitlist? A bit vague, so don't know what to think to be honest.
