Was mentioned in my email that decisions were made primarily off of applicant's GPA's. This is frustrating to me because having a 4.0 does not mean you will be a good SLP.... just wishing that they would have taken other factors into consideration but oh well. Congrats to those who were accepted!

To the poster asking about Hofstra--some schools had supplemental applications where you can log in to a portal in addition to using CSDCAS. Hofstra only used CSDCAS so I suspect we will just be receiving an email from them. Hope this helps!

Does anyone think I could call and find out how far down the waitlist I am?

To the poster below- When you arrive you will fill out a sheet about what one research interest may be. You then will go into a room with 7-9 other people and they will just ask you personal questions (how to get more men into the field or when and how have you dealt with conflict etc.) you will then write a word or a few words that describe yourself. DO NOT write passionate determined etc. they will tell you but they really dont want that. They will then show you around and that is it. GOOD LUCK!

Those of you rejected and accepted at APP, how did you find out? mine still says complete and ready for review

ME! Such a hard wait....my first choice at this point probably. They said "by the end of this month most likely" when I called last week

I am so excited as this is my top choice! I don't have the best numbers, so I am so grateful! Will most likely be attending!

Is anyone else still waiting to hear from Umass? I feel like I have been waiting forever and am starting to get anxious. It's the last school I am waiting on and I haven't heard anything, even though people have already beeen accepted or rejected.

3.8 CSD GPA. Slightly disappointed because I really wanted to go there, but thankful to have been accepted to other amazing programs! Congrats to those who were accepted!

Rejected. But I got accepted elsewhere so I am fine with that!

So excited!! Will be graduating from JMU undergrad in May. Does anyone know when we find out about GA positions?
