Does anyone know what number they are on the wait list? I called and asked but a rude woman told me there was no number.

Response to below: Based on the different dates of acceptances it appears that they send them out as they get declinations. There is a tour there March 27th.You may get an offer after others make their final decisions after the tour.

Regarding OSU, I recently contacted them and was told that our status can be considered as on the "waiting list" if we haven't been notified yet.

To the OSU poster below: OSU sent out acceptances, rejections, and wait listings several weeks ago. I hadn't received any correspondence from them since I submitted my application. Late last week, I called the audiology department and spoke with their secretary. She informed me that my application is "pending". Therefore, I am not officially accepted, waitlisted, or rejected. The department is waiting to hear back from its first round of accepted applicants by April 15th. She also said not to expect any updates until after April 15th, probably late April.

To the poster below: I was accepted through KSU. I got in contact Dr. Hawks and he told me that they would be offering some full tuition scholarships and GA positions but I have yet to hear anything further regarding if they made offers yet or how many they will be making. He said they were unsure at the time of how many they would be able to offer as they were still figuring details out. I was accepted on march 2nd.

Has anyone been rejected or wait listed at OSU? I still haven't heard anything

This is my first choice, as it is financially convenient for me to live close to home. If you plan on declining, please do so as soon as you know! Good luck to everyone :)

Did anyone hear from Buffalo besides the two accepted a while back? I'm assuming I didn't get in, but it's weird not to have any notice yet!

To the poster asking about CMU, I don't think it means you're accepted, but that they're still interested in you. Dr. Stewart mentioned at the Open House that they like to meet the applicants to get a good idea of their personality so they can gauge how good of a fit the applicant will be for their program. If you haven't received any acceptances and/or are still interested, I suggest you make the trip. I really enjoyed my visit.

To the person asking about NOAC, I was accepted on March 2nd and at that time they told me I would enroll through the University of Akron and that I had a graduate assistantship. I don't know if they plan on giving out any additional funding.

To the previous user about Central Michigan, to my knowledge most acceptance letters were formal and sent out 2 weeks ago with offers. I know recently a few students declined their offer so my guess is you are being asked as if you were on the waiting list? Dr. Stewart should be able to answer definitively though!

To others who have heard about their application decision, was the letter formal? I was invited to the CMU open house back in February, but told them I was unable to attend as I couldn't afford a plane ticket right now to travel there for a day, until I knew I was accepted. They were very polite, told me that was understandable and that the director of audiology would be in contact with me shortly. I haven't heard a thing until today (3/19), I got an email from the director saying he's interested in "recruiting" me for the program and wants me to come visit. It's a little late for campus visits, since we have less than a month until we need to commit somewhere. I have other acceptances, but I'm confused. Is this their way of telling me I'm accepted? Just wondering how the email was for others who got accepted...

I was wondering if anyone has received info on what school you officially got accepted into? I was accepted on Feb 14th and I have not heard anything since. I was also wondering if anyone knows if more people will be receiving funding?

Major GPA: 3.9. Lots of volunteering and shadowing. Still deciding on programs this is top 3 but will likely be accepting elsewhere.
