- To others who have heard about their application decision, was the letter formal? I was invited to the CMU open house back in February, but told them I was unable to attend as I couldn't afford a plane ticket right now to travel there for a day, until I knew I was accepted. They were very polite, told me that was understandable and that the director of audiology would be in contact with me shortly. I haven't heard a thing until today (3/19), I got an email from the director saying he's interested in "recruiting" me for the program and wants me to come visit. It's a little late for campus visits, since we have less than a month until we need to commit somewhere. I have other acceptances, but I'm confused. Is this their way of telling me I'm accepted? Just wondering how the email was for others who got accepted...
