I was interviwed by Skype video call by the professor in the 3rd week of February. He was pretty much hooked with my credentials. Yet after the interview when I asked him about his decision, he said the grad assessment has just began to unfold for PhD candidates. And it will take several weeks before the issue of decision. I am an international student BTW.

TBP even I received a decision which is very puzzling. The letter said that although my profile meets high standards they cannot accommodate me in the US campus due to capacity limitations. They've also done a hard sell and recommended me to join either their France or China campuses without any further profile review. I believe this is a rejection after all but it doesn't feel that way! Is anyone else on the same boat and knows what to do?

To the posters about U of T's admission, I have not heard back from them too. I guess there are no worries since I know lots of people with brilliant resume and grades that have not heard back too. I guess there should be other rounds. Wish you luck.

To the other Toronto ECE MASc poster. I have also applied to the ECE MASc program (on Jan 7) and still have not heard back (no interviews or anything). Seems like our chances now are slim.

Has everyone got their decisions for Wisconsin Electrical (SPML)? I have not received any communication from them after submitting my application on 15 Dec. However, my test scores were received after 15 Dec. Now I am worried that my application was not reviewed at all. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Anyone heard back from University of Toronto yet? There seems like some got accepted already for PhD and Masters. I am an international student applying for MASc 4 months ago but I haven't heard back from them yet. Do I assume rejection now?

I haven't any news either for the EECS Meng program and I assume results will come out next week. IEOR Meng results came out for example last Friday but I don't think so for EECS Meng.

To the poster asking about a note from POI. I also heard from my POI on Feb 26th that I've been nominated for admission and a fellowship... and that "committee will be reviewing nominations.... should know decision by March 10th". Then heard yesterday that I've been awarded the fellowship. Usually, students nominated by Profs have a high chance of acceptance, so you should be fairly confident. But then again, you never know until you get the official letter. Best of luck.

Accepted for the Intelligence Systems, Robotics and Control program. Background: Ungrad. in CSE from IIT, 6 months of equivalent research experience, no paper, one patent application. O-lay.

To the poster below, I received an email on 26th Feb as follows from POI: "Just to let you know, I have recommended you for admission with funding, and you'd be hearing from the department hopefully soon".... Is this a positive reply?

Note from POI saying that I have been awarded a departmental fellowship. Systems track. Official letter to come on Monday (March 11), but not sure whether that's a more general wave of acceptances or not. Heard last week that the committee would be reviewing nominations and would make a decision by March 10th, so this notification is in line with that. Good luck to everyone.

replying to the poster below.....I have also received acceptance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (WEMPEC)....Prof. has assured funding....Awaiting funding details....I have not applied to Virginia Tech or Irvine.

Does anyone receive the decision letter from the Gatech and it mentions that they recommend you to apply for other campus..? What does this letter mean? admission to other campus if you interested in? or Still need to wait from another evaluation by the committee
