Ignore Waitlist. Anyone hear from Aerospace Masters at UCSD yet?

Applied to the Ph.D. program but was rejected. Offered to do the M.S. program instead.

I thought I met all admission criteria. It was my first choice :(

I had since known I would be rejected because I made contact and was told my chances were low. Straight from undergraduate, with 1.5yrs of work experience. No publication and no contact with Professor. Toefl 111/120. I had applied since October last year. I'm happy I wasn't waiting on them. I already Have a better offer and wouldn't have accepted even with full funding. Good luck to others

Contacted the grad coordinator about my application status. She replied ''I spoke with our Director of Programs who does admissions, and she explained that we have made the first round of offers to prospective PhD students. We are waiting on the responses to these initial offers to see if we will make additional offers in the near future. Please keep monitoring your email and application portal for updates. ''

For people who are accepted to the MEng program below, could you please share what you studied for your undergrad program, thanks!! I am a domestic student and submitted my application early Jan, still waiting for a decision.

Just got my email offer of admission this morning! I am an International student and have completed my bachelors at a Canadian university. my CGPA is 3.2 and my final year GPA is 3.78.

Just got the acceptance letter for MEng Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. International student from Pakistan. CGPA 3.62 and Final Year GPA 3.8. Applied in early January. Hope this helps.

Received the acceptance email for the MEng program this afternoon, international applicant with a UofT BSc degree. last year GPA 3.7, cGPA 3.3. I didn't get the request to send in the transcript before the offer though. Maybe the grad school unit can directly request the transcript from undergrad, since when I checked my ACORN I was already invited to the program.

Ignore waitlist. TTPB (who is waitlisted): Were you the person who contacted the admin office and received a reply saying results will come out today? Still waiting for an update for my application, currently 'Under Review'. bad feeling
