TTPB: I was informed earlier in the week that I am the current next-in-line for an offer should one of the others decline. I will probably take it if they offer, but I am still waiting on 3 more schools for results.

Contacted them with the application number for an update. They replied that I have been rejected and that they mailed the letter which should be arriving shortly.

No email. Randomly checked portal. 75% tuition scholarship.

No Email. I randomly checked the website and saw the rejection letter. They gave me a partially funded MACSS offer that I will decline, since I have fully funded PhD offers.

Referred to this after being rejected from Music Composition PhD. ~1/3 scholarship but will be declining...$40,000 for a one-year, unspecific master's? That's a no from me dawg. 99% of forums say this program is is a ripoff, and how could it not be.

Randomly checked the portal, noticed a status update. I'm not sure why my decision was so delayed compared to the other applicants, but knew it was a long shot considering I do not have an economics undergrad. Congrats to all admitted.

Applied directly to MAPH, also admitted to the Two-year language option. $12k scholarship. Concentration is philosophy. Will be declining.

I checked the application portal, I had been rejected from the PhD but accepted to the MAPSS Masters program with a 1/3 scholarship. That's nice, although it's a bit cheeky to admit me to a program costing $40,000/yr when I applied to a funded program. So, not sure if they actually like me or if that's a sales tactic.

Honestly, it's insulting to offer a $12,000 scholarship to a program with a $60,000 tuition bill plus an estimated $30,000 in living expenses. Lowkey this program is a scam to make money for the university and allow those who are qualified and well off to buy their way into a degree from a respectable school. Suffice to say, I will definitely not be accepting due to an offer from a fully funded, equally prestigious PhD program.

Accepted with 12k. Will probably turn down because I got into a fully-funded program elsewhere.

Randomly checked the portal. Interdisciplinary. 12k scholarship. Also accepted to TLO (Sanskrit). I terribly ignored the word limit for TLO statement (I wrote over 800 words, though it should be 300 as required), but they said the length did not affect my application.
