Holy lord, how long is NYUs waitlist?? General question: is it possible to enter a Low Res program just for a year and then reapply for a fully funded program? Any insight is much appreciated.

Hi all – does anyone have intel on whether LSU has notified everyone accepted? Heard last week that everything would be sent out by today, but I heard nothing and I've only seen 2 acceptances. I'm dying.

Literally thought I wouldn't get in anywhere this year so obviously I'm excited!!!!

thought I should let the good people here know that I called SIU to make sure that the "not received" status of many of my definitely-sent materials was nothing to worry about and was very kindly told they're still working through MFA applications. sounds like they're swamped, so don't panic if you haven't heard anything! I know mid-March feels like the unspoken expiration date on any unresolved grad app hopes and dreams (at least, it does to me), but in this case it doesn't seem like "no news" need be taken as an assumed rejection.

Has anyone heard from this program?

Thank GOD. Thought I was only getting rejections this year.

NYU needs to fuck off

Standard rejection.

Finally some light at the end of the tunnel. Scholarships offered, but, sadly, it might not be enough. 1a/0w/6r/2p

Now for the waiting game.

Called to check application status, left a message and was notified of rejection via email from the graduate advisor. All acceptances and waitlists have been sent out, rejection emails coming in the next several weeks.

sweet lerd this feels fine after goops and gobs of nothing. prob no funding either way, but channeling Big Decision Energy into this 0a/1w/7r/1p

what the h*ck I did not see this coming. that's 0a/1w/7r/1p

3a/1w/4r & season DONE :D

I mean that's nice but if there's no way to get funding then I can't go.
