Had an interview with a prof. outside of my specified area of interest in Jan. Very friendly, but tough to be interviewed by because our interests didn't match at all. Very strong project-based background, over a year of internship experience, but no research experience or publications. Also suspect average GRE scores played a part in the rejection. | ||||

Has anyone heard back from the admissions department or contacted them for PhD admissions in Engineering (ECE in my case)? If you have been accepted/rejected/wait-listed for the Phd in Engineering please tell us how your process reached that decision. I can see that there are many of us that have not received any kind of update in our applications. I understand that by waiting this long our chances might be low but I still need to know the official statement... Thank you all for reading and supporting the community | ||||
