Here is the response I have received: Mr. Kurt, Unfortunately due to the high volume of outstanding application received and the very limited admission allocation from our Graduate Division your application for admission to graduate study in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley has been denied. You will receive your official the official notification regarding your denial by email early next week. We wish you continue success in your graduate studies at another institution.
