emailed by the DGS, official notification from the Graduate School to follow sometime within the next few days.

TPP: I also applied to the Film and Media Studies program in combination with French and haven't heard anything yet...

Anyone has any news on the combined PhD program in French and film and media studies plz? Any information is more than welcome!

No interview so expected

Email saying status changed and to check portal. No interview, expected.

Interviewed on Feb 12 via Skype.

First of many...happy Valentine’s Day! :D

Not surprised as I didn't get the interview, despite having versatile skills in neuroimaging and publications. However, it's still pretty hard for international students to break into the cycle of American students, especially most of their students already came from amazing schools like Ivy. I guess the best strategy is to go to a good school first and to transfer to Yale or get strong LoR or at least from someone the POI knows to get your SOP be read.

I already knew that I wasn't admitted AND I have other offers. So, why does reading this rejection notification still suck to read? Smh my head.

Same as everyone else.

Received an email to check my status on the website.

Expected. Congrats to those who got accepted.
