accepted several weeks ago. Received e-mail this morning saying there's no funding due to an extremely strong applicant pool this year. I am surprised as I received full scholarships to the other programs I applied to that are the same-tiered and have similar programs. I will follow the money. The e-mail also strongly emphasizes that no receiving a fellowship this year does not preclude award in 2nd year.

After emailing [email protected] last week, I received the rejection letter this morning. Heading to my top choice anyway, so no big deal. Good luck, everyone!

How do you guys check your status on apply yourself? Where is it located?

Pretty cool that the letter was dated 3/6/2009 but the email to check status was on 3/27/2009. What took so long?? Got into much better ranked programs and was never really that willing to pay NYC prices to live/go to school.
