This is our conversation: Grad office: Each department has a different process and timeline for their application review and sending admission decisions. Some departments have already sent out their admission emails, but the Department of Electrical Engineering has not yet sent any official email decisions. Regardless, all decisions will be emailed by March 15. Me: Many thanks for your response. The department of Electrical Engineering sent official admission on Feb10 last year. Are you sure that graduate office will send the official admission on March 15? Grad office:No, I just meant that March 15 is the only guaranteed deadline date for official admission decisions.

To the poster below. yeah though, the department usually sends out (to-be-verified-by-grad-school )admissions early Feb.

To the poster below: did you email the grad office, or you receive the notifications from them? Thanks!

Grad office send me an email that official admission will send on March 15.

To the poster below. Me too...... To get an insight from the result of last year, I guess today or early days of next week is the announcement day for students with interviews.

Has anybody heard back from Princeton after the interviews. The anxiety is killing me 🙃

Unofficial acceptance (pending graduate school approval) from admissions committee.

For those who got accepted to the PhD program, did you just receive an email from the department only or from faculty interested in your application as well. The acceptance email said that interested faculty will contact soon but I haven't received any email. Also, did you get to know who your advisor for the first year will be?
