Funding information finally arrived. Approximately an $8500 stipend and a $5500 scholarship. Very last-minute.

Waitlisted for aid until 4/13. Then funding came through and I accepted.

waitlisted for funding, been 2 months by now ,looks like they don't have funds / no one declined their offer so that they could give it to me, told them don't consider me anymore. got admitted into my top choice.

I asked the graduate coordinator, but the website status hasn't change. Probably I was on the waitinglist and someone just declined their admission. No funding of course.

I e-mailed the PhD Director and I got a personal reply that although my application was really compelling this year they received 3 times the applications than usually and they witnessed the strongest applications of the last decade. Then I also got an "admission denied" from the website...extremely impolite and implying lack of respect for their applicants!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No funding per e-mail. Forget it.

Email today with no funding...WTF.

I called and asked. the answer was that I am not on the list they received yesterday, so I am unofficially rejected. They do not employ a waiting list... I am little bit surprised because a Tippie professor encouraged me to apply there.

nearly 200 applicants applying to our graduate program. With a target PhD class size of only 7-8 incoming PhD students, successful candidates represented only about 8% of the total PhD applicant pool.

I've known for a while that I was accepted because I've been in contact with my adviser, but I was informed that I have 5 years full funding! :)

Already accepted. Received an email with sweet, sweet funding offer attached.

I called and asked about my status. I have an acceptance to someplace I am happy about, so I just want to hurry up and hear back from the other schools I applied to.

3rd post: Rec'd email from grad office asst apologizing for the admissions letter for PhD program, clarified my acceptance is for MA program (which has no funding). I'll be the token MA student this fall as they usually have one or two.
