Same as others. They sent a form letter, pretty lame.

Non-traditional GPA. $24k

I've already accepted the offer of admission from SFI.

Non-traditional GPA. $24 k

Accepted with half graduate assistantship award

$24000 stipend

Turned down today, but I was accepted into UMD Physics so I'm not particularly heart broken

Considering how long their application was I hoping to at least have my name in the rejection email.

Just got email from Maryland (after getting rejected on website yesterday). "Dear Graduate Student Applicants, Thank you for your interest in the Astronomy graduate program at the University of Maryland, College Park. After review of the applications, we anticipate it is unlikely we can offer you admission into the program. The applications are very competitive: this year we had over 150 applicants, and we can only take 5-8 students"

4th rejection. Now the rejections are becoming ruder.... UMD took a hell of a hard work to complete the application asking so many irrelevant and repetitive questions and then just uploaded the decision on the website without even notifying, showing they're doing very hard work in reviewing the application and they don't have time!!! Great... not much disappointed, I knew it.

Same as person below, checked website and found rejection letter, no email

No email, checked website since I saw post below.. Not surprised since I didn't get an interview.

Checked website and saw decision, no email.

American Subfield 3a/1r/1w

To the person below who asked when UMD applicants submitted their app, I submitted mine before thanksgiving and heard back last week that I was accepted on their website.

MA GPA is 3.87. (2a/2w/0r, 5 remaining that I haven't heard anything back from.)
