GPA is master's. Email said, "We only accept the strongest few candidates," so pretty harsh :/

GPA is masters. 0a/5r/6p

4.0 GPA, one publication and one conference as current master's student.

Standard rejection email sent at 6:26pm Eastern Time… Just happy to have finally been notified!! In retrospect, the program wasn't the best fit anyhow. 1a 1r 12p Congrats to those admitted!!

Just received an email from the director of grad studies, saying that I was waitlisted. News will come soon, he says. Whew, at least it wasn't another rejection!

Email to check portal. GPA is MA, 1a/1w/4r/5p.

GPA from MA. Received email with link to decision. 0a/4r/0w/2p

Received an email this morning. Application portal is still listed as pending. Super excited!

Please let them know if you don't plan on attending!

I just came to realize that what this programme requires is the perfect fit to the programme, and that doesn't necessarily mean having the highest grades. My personal statement and writing samples were all in perfect alignment with the programme content, and I had a lot of extracurricular and co-curricular activities that were directly linked to literature and the sharing of literary knowledge. So, those who dream of reading literature at Oxford, do try! You won't lose anything by applying.

No interview. Has anyone heard from Fordham? I've only seen one acceptance? Are we all screwed....
