Reading for MS in Statistics and Operations Research with a 4.0 GPA

No previous research experience. Two summers of internship.

The two professors I mentioned in my SOP conducted the interview together. They asked general questions such as why I chose this university and program, why I want to pursue a PhD, about my research interests, and what my plans are after completing the PhD. At the end, they gave me the opportunity to ask questions about their research. I had emailed both of them before applying, and they replied somewhat generically that my research overlaps with theirs and encouraged me to apply.

3.68 OVERALL, 3.71 CSD, research experience and volunteering. no interview.

Domestic T20. 1 first author paper submitted to A* conference. 2 and a half years of research.
