@below: MSc admissions (competitive) have been sent out. Open House is next Fri, I think. Sorry to say this, but it's very likely that you have been rejected - letters go out late March. Anyhow, it would not cost anything to ask your POI... so I would definitely send an email asking for further info - they might have put you in a sort of waitlist.. | ||||

I'm a post bacc student and have a 3.9 in the COMD major. I really just focused on pouring myself into the statement and explaining that I feel called to do this as a career, to combat my low undergrad GPA. Don't loose that hope. GPA isn't everything. | ||||

rejected from Ph.D. Program but offered immediate admissions to MA program. in the email the director of the MA program writes "Many otherwise qualified students fail to be accepted into clinical Ph.D. programs because they lack sufficient research experience" and goes on to tell me how their MA program could help. While I agree the program wasn't a great fit for me, this email is pretty infuriating, considering I have a MA, 7 pubs including two first author, and a job as a research analyst. Makes me think they didn't even review my app! | ||||
