I was interviwed by Skype video call by the professor in the 3rd week of February. He was pretty much hooked with my credentials. Yet after the interview when I asked him about his decision, he said the grad assessment has just began to unfold for PhD candidates. And it will take several weeks before the issue of decision. I am an international student BTW.

Rejected through SSG website. Went through a round of interviews with the Admission Committee, but I couldn't secure a thesis supervisor by the time they finalized potential accepted students, which lead to my rejection.

It has been under review for a month now, no decision yet.

To the posters about U of T's admission, I have not heard back from them too. I guess there are no worries since I know lots of people with brilliant resume and grades that have not heard back too. I guess there should be other rounds. Wish you luck.

To the UoT posters below: I had mailed the graduate admission office. They said they expect to roll out all decisions by the end of April

Same here, no interview yet which is really weird. I tried contacting the grad office about the process but I'm not getting any response from them either.

Anyone still without an interview? Does it mean a reject?

To the other Toronto ECE MASc poster. I have also applied to the ECE MASc program (on Jan 7) and still have not heard back (no interviews or anything). Seems like our chances now are slim.

Anyone heard back from University of Toronto yet? There seems like some got accepted already for PhD and Masters. I am an international student applying for MASc 4 months ago but I haven't heard back from them yet. Do I assume rejection now?

Canadian citizen with a Canadian undergrad. The deadline to accept is March 20, but there’s an option of extending it if you have other offers. Will be rejecting. Goodluck to those still waiting! 6a/0r/1p

To the post below, thanks~~In fact I am not so sure if this is ME or IE. I didn't see such detail on the admission letter but only with "department of mechanical and industrial engineering". I have interviewed with a professor in Jan. So I think if a professor is interested in you, you will be most likely admitted. Anyway, I am still thinking about this funding....

Just got an acceptance email from associate grad chair on Saturday. Canadian citizen from Canadian Undergrad. 6.6 k TA funding which may not be final. SO EXCITED. Planning to accept 2a/2r/5p
