Upenn is the only school out of the many that I applied, who asks for an official transcript prior to the admission. I attended college abroad, so I paid $300 + for the WES service for the undergrad transcript verification, not to mention all other hassles. Just a heads up for everyone that, if you want to apply to UPenn, make sure this is what you want / there's a great chance you'll get in. Otherwise it's just a waste of time and money if we're not accepted. Overall it was not a very positive experience communicating with UPenn's administration.

NOW I get the email to check status... Saw (and logged for GC) my rejection on 2/27, when it was posted to the portal.

Pretty surprising. Will probably consider it if I finally got it, but I have an at least equally good option. 2a/2w/12r

TTPB: The admissions officer said the acceptance rate last year was a little under 10%

Got email to check the app portal. 6 years of education product exp outside of the US.

Those who got admitted but are not planning to go, please inform the department.

Since some students have already received their acceptance letter, I sent an e-mail to make sure I was rejected – they only send rejection letters by the end of March. Not really appropriate if you ask me

Last year they sent out acceptances only around mid-march.
