Received email from Professor notifying me of being admitted

The number and quality of graduate applicants to the University of Washington is extraordinary and these difficult decisions are reached through careful consideration of all applicants to a given program. In many cases, enrollment restrictions are also a factor, limiting our ability to accept all qualified applicants." not very surprised as international but little disappointed

It was an informal interview with a faculty who holds an NSF grant. I was reached out last week telling me that they would like to work with me if I am accepted to the program. It was a long conversation, almost two hours. Not sure what's going to happen. UW is my top choice; my hope is up right now and I am afraid of thing doesn't work out. I am afraid this school is too big for me to handle. I'm already accepted at three other smaller universities (top 200) with funding packages. Now I am waiting for the UW admission result and I know this is going to ruin my sleep at night.

I'm sure I am not the only one who is thinking that the UW econ application is by far the most aesthetically unpleasant that I have seen so far. I hope my fellow applicants are holding up okay!

A faculty reached out telling me that they have a grant if I am accepted to the program. Set up informal talk online on Dec 14. Not sure what's going to happen. UW is my 1st top choice. But yea, not gonna let my hope up, I am exhausted by this admission process. It is 'the odd' and beyond my control. I'm already accepted at three other universities with funding packages.

Has anyone been admitted into the program with a 3.0 GPA or below?
