Didn't have a good chance of getting in anyway

NLP. Was probably waitlisted earlier.

I was on the waitlist. They said they received enough acceptances to reach the target cohort size and can't take any more.

I got full admission from NCSU a few weeks ago with no comment on funding. They just said that funding decisiom would be made soon. Does anyone know when the funding decision will be made?

To the poster below I also got an email saying the same content as yours in the morning. And the title of email was "admission update"

Is there anyone who received waitlist check e-mail from Professor Hill a few hours ago? (Professor Hill said, he want to see who is available on their waitlist. And asked to me, did I already accept an offer) But a title of this e-mail was "(My name): UNC admissions offer"... I was surprised, however the title of the e-mail did not match with the contents of the e-mail.

TPB I emailed back and forth with prof hill... explicitly asked twice if there was a funding wait list and he did not directly respond and instead gave a "tough decisions had to be made, etc." I would guess it is unlikely that we receive a funded offer but who knows there could still be a small chance they were just seeing if they could get someone to bite on an unfunded offer

Has any international received admission decision from the Environmental Engineering PhD program?

Acceptance from my top choice on my birthday :)

I contacted Dr. Hill through e-mail to check my application status and he told me I was rejected. He also said that the formal reject notices will only be sent late in April or early May.

Got off from the waitlist. Excited!

TPB:Did Prof. hill reply to you? I also received the similar unfunded offer,l emailed Prof.Hill that I cannot afford the expense,but he hasn't reply to me up to now

Just got an email saying that I am on a short list for funding, so they want to know whether I am still interesting in their program. Excited ! I used to think i may need to fund myself.

Accepted off of the waitlist with an unfunded offer. I replied that I would be unable to attend without funding. Would not make sense to go ~$50k in debt for just the chance to receive funding in the second year.

Has any international applicant received admission decision from Environmental Engineering PhD program? Any idea when they would roll out the decisions?

Just accepted admission offer with TA-ship, health insurance and paid tuition. Will be *rescinding* applications from University of Iowa's AMCS PhD program and UMN's Applied Math PhD program. Best of luck to everyone still on waitlists!!!
