Standard form letter--no surprise. The whole process was very strange, and all the interviews I had except one were uncomfortably formal and scripted. They didn't seem to be very concerned about selling the school to potential students, and they didn't have any clear answers when I asked what the best part of the program was. It was a weird experience for an otherwise great school.

I contacted admissions regarding the application process and such they said that this application was extremely competitive, even if applicants met or exceeded their requirements. I guess rejection is part of life, however, still unclear how admissions folks make their decisions as extremely high GPA and test scores do not necessarily make a great PhD candidate. Oh well if I do not get in this year with other programs there is always next application cycle!

Saw an update on the portal on the 13th, got an official letter on the 19th via email. International student with a BSc Biochemistry. CGPA 3.25/4.0

No GRE; 2 years undergraduate research

I got an email to checking the portal for results. I received information about a scholarship along with my acceptance. I will be declining the offer though. I hope this opens a spot for someone else!
