I was notified this morning of my rejection to their online program. I was kind of expecting this since I did not get invited for an interview. For the last 60 units, my GPA was 3.4 and I had a 3.8 for my CSD courses. I was a part of the board committee for my undergraduate NSSLHA organization. I have experience volunteering at a private speech and hearing clinic as well as experience providing direct therapy in a clinical setting. I was an instructional assistant for a SPED program at a local school district where I worked in addressing the emotional and behavioral concerns students. I was also involved in 5 major related clubs on campus. Kinda bummed, but I am happy for everyone else who got in! Good luck! | ||||

High GPA in both undergrad (4.0) and post-bacc CSUSM program (3.9). First undergrad was in education, worked in a high school and then corporate setting. Had four recommendation letters (didn't have access to them, but feel confident/had a good relationship with all professors), participated in every class, emailed professors outside of class for additional clarification. Did not have research experience or in the field experience but was hopeful my grades, recommendations, and enthusiasm would've made up for that. They did not. I was not asked to interview and I'm not sure if that was asked of everyone or just some they were wanting to speak with more. | ||||
