In response to the poster below - not everyone gets that email, some receive only an email to check the portal. You must have submitted something they liked! Last year, I received that email, and this year I was accepted. Having now received many rejections (as well as a few acceptances), I know that not every school tells you they enjoyed your work or to continue writing. At an institution that is known to personalize their rejections, I received only a "thanks for your interest in our program and good luck." It's so subjective - and while that's a good thing (there should be diversity in tastes and standards so the work later is just as diverse), it can feel terribly chaotic. I hope these words help.

I posted the other day that I only saw in the portal that I was rejected. Today I got the official Camden email rejection. Has anyone else received a rejection email? Seems like in previous years, not everyone has? Also I'm unsure of whether it was a form rejection or a higher-tiered rejection. Second line is "We have read your application with great interest." Got the sweetest email from the director. Nominated for scholarships, consideration for GA-ships, but definite funding info is yet to come.

Received a wonderful phone call. She said email with official acceptance will be coming within the next few weeks. Dreams come true!
