TPB: The director told me that they had seriously considered my application (particularly regarding the area that I researched for my masters thesis), but that they had already over-extended themselves by taking on more students than they had originally planned. I discussed other possible routes (I.e. no funding), but in the end, nothing panned out. I received the official rejection letter on May 11. I got into 1 program and was waitlisted at American. I agree...the competition was much more difficult than I had expected. Regardless, that’s great that you got into 2 schools! Good luck to you with your studies!

Initial offer of close to full tuition, which was later bumped to full with a stipend. Also received a FLAS Award. In a surprise twist, I will study for a Masters of Global Policy Studies at UT! Will have to hustle more than at other programs to network in some areas but excited not to have loans. 9a/1r.

I was put in the waitlist on April 8th. Then, I got the unofficial offer from the program director through the e-mail on May 3rd. After almost one week, I got the official offer on May 9th with 11,000 USD stipend per year from the committee through the e-mail. Wish you all get what you want soon.

No GPAs since I'm not a US citizen. But graduated in Poli Sci with honors from Panthéon-Sorbonne University. DIdn't take the GRE either. First generation student.
