- TPB: The director told me that they had seriously considered my application (particularly regarding the area that I researched for my masters thesis), but that they had already over-extended themselves by taking on more students than they had originally planned. I discussed other possible routes (I.e. no funding), but in the end, nothing panned out. I received the official rejection letter on May 11. I got into 1 program and was waitlisted at American. I agree...the competition was much more difficult than I had expected. Regardless, that’s great that you got into 2 schools! Good luck to you with your studies!
