I got an email asking me to interview the prior week. Then an email followed by a call with the acceptance.

Second admit of the year!! My field is robotics and ML. Received mail yesterday but I am also facing the same portal issue.

Hi, I'm one of the admits to UT Austin in the ML/AI/CV field. I did not have any top tier conference publications, I only had a workshop paper + poster. I was not interviewed. My acceptance came as an email from the PhD Admissions Committee of the CS department, I did not have any contact with any professors at UT Austin. I mentioned Dhillon and Chaudhuri in my SOP though.

Got admit mail but the status on the portal has not been updated. Mailed graduate coordinator yesterday.

Good GPA, 2 first-author papers, good LORs.

Field: Security. Was interviewed on 7th Jan.

To the posters below, did you all have publications at topn tier conferences? ACL or CVPR or along those lines? It'd be great to know.

Had an interview with poi in first week of Jan. International student from India. Area: NLP

I'm one of the admits. No interview or direct contact from any professors, but I mentioned Grauman in my SoP. I don't see any change to my application status which makes me paranoid it's sent in error.

To all the PhD admits posted below! What was the application status changed to? Were you all interviewed ? Did you apply to the same PI? Could you please name the PI you got an offer from?
