Zoom notification came last week, official letter received 2/10. Campus visit in March.

Damn Berkeley! No interview or nothing

Hope everyone else got better results! One school left to hear from, fingers crossed

Not from a traditional math/stats background, so not really a surprise

This one actually caught me off guard, as this was my first choice. 0a/1w/2r/6p. I was feeling very hopeful, but now I am terrified for the rest of my results.

My topic is very relevant to the ongoing work of their other historians in my region

So excited!

Email from POI that decisions go out next week. Just for others likely to get rejections soon: they had an especially high number of applicants and could only admit about 4.5%, US History was especially crowded. In my case I'm told there were 3 people advocating heavily for me but it's just a really bad year. My stats are 4.0 MA GPA, 3.8 undergrad, no publications but a fellowship, and I participated in their PhD Pipeline program (where they emphasized, what matters more than those stats is the "fit" and the specifics of the research project). 1A / 4R / 8P (I think, I'm losing count).
