- Email from POI that decisions go out next week. Just for others likely to get rejections soon: they had an especially high number of applicants and could only admit about 4.5%, US History was especially crowded. In my case I'm told there were 3 people advocating heavily for me but it's just a really bad year. My stats are 4.0 MA GPA, 3.8 undergrad, no publications but a fellowship, and I participated in their PhD Pipeline program (where they emphasized, what matters more than those stats is the "fit" and the specifics of the research project). 1A / 4R / 8P (I think, I'm losing count).
