I had given up hope but so excited! Slightly exasperated that it took so long but they were always very honest about where they were in the process. If you're stressed just ask!

Partner university, email this morning

I'm disappointed in how this was handled. As previously noted, the application portal apparently kept all rejected candidates "in review" for the entirety of the decision process. I emailed in March to ask if there was any word and was told they'd let everyone know by April 15. (Apparently, another poster called around when I emailed and was told that he'd been rejected but that it wouldn't be official until April.) April 15 came and went, and they just released the decision today, three days later. They didn't even bother to send out rejection emails. If nothing else, they should've been consistent in how they handled people's queries when the "review" period lapsed so far. I'd already come to terms with it back in February, but a rejection would have been more professional than this weird limbo status for so many months. This program was my top choice and I had planned to reapply next year if I didn't get in, but I don't think I want to anymore. There doesn't seem to be much consideration (or consistency) going on over there.

Not sure why they took so long to post the decision.

Phone call; awaiting funding info. Decents stats and low(er) GRE.

Off waitlist

Unfortunately, they did not update my status in my application and I had to email the graduate assistant to get any sort of response. She informed me that they will not be making any other offers for fall 2018, so I expect that a rejection notice will be received shortly. Congratulations to all who were accepted!

Email to check portal. Rejected off waitlist after what felt like the longest wait that has ever happened anywhere.

I was waitlisted for relg studies in Feb, received my notification of rejection this evening.

Has anyone from ODID heard back regarding funding? The dept was supposed to be back from Easter break today.

To the posts below: I had my interview over a month ago (partner uni) and haven't heard back yet. I assume it's still going to take a while for them to get back to us with final decisions.

Rejected offers from TCU, LSU, and Texas A&M to attend here, mostly because of the opportunities to work with the faculty.

Was about to respond to those who provided more info about receiving decisions from UCLA, as I was the one who asked about this. Then I got my own rejection letter. What a major bummer. Didn’t even get on the waitlist. Received notification through email to check their website.

Email telling me to go to status website. Found out that I wasn't accepted. Expected but really, really heartbreaking...

To the poster asking about news: I just received an email saying there was not enough room for me to move off of the waitlist for this fall. I wish you and the others out there better luck.
