- I'm disappointed in how this was handled. As previously noted, the application portal apparently kept all rejected candidates "in review" for the entirety of the decision process. I emailed in March to ask if there was any word and was told they'd let everyone know by April 15. (Apparently, another poster called around when I emailed and was told that he'd been rejected but that it wouldn't be official until April.) April 15 came and went, and they just released the decision today, three days later. They didn't even bother to send out rejection emails. If nothing else, they should've been consistent in how they handled people's queries when the "review" period lapsed so far. I'd already come to terms with it back in February, but a rejection would have been more professional than this weird limbo status for so many months. This program was my top choice and I had planned to reapply next year if I didn't get in, but I don't think I want to anymore. There doesn't seem to be much consideration (or consistency) going on over there.
