5yrs SWE, 2yrs data engineer, 4+ yrs data-related startup founder (backed by VCs), current CTO at other startup, BS in CS from outside, MS in SWE from California (GPA 3.7), one journal author, recommendations from current data scientist at Amazon, Google. SOP focused on data visualization. It was too long to see the rejection. Was not expect to admit and I already have admission at Parsons and Pratt. I think data science is not fit for me. TPB: LMAO. absolutely right brother. What I don't get is that other departments at NYU are giving out results, so what is the problem with data science department. And what happened to the results coming out on and around 18 Apr, why send out email when you will not honor the commitment. I have only couple of days till I can wait for the result, otherwise I'll just go with other univ. After this is over, I would need mental health analysis. | ||||
