Received formal offer today (informal offer March 1) but no word on funding in the offer (I am an American, though, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it). If the letter didn't mention funding, can I safely assume that the department will not be offering me a studentship? I guess Clarendon is still a possibility, though--unless the department informs students about nominations before the April 15 notification date? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't really surprised, I might even print and frame the rejection letter. I had already accepted another fully funded offer but it has been an honor to apply. All whose who have been waiting for 2 months, check you e-mails:)

Accepted this morning. The letter states that notifications about funding will be sent out by 15th April. Did anyone receive funding with their acceptance letter for the MML DPhil? Would be good to know if it definitely comes separately or whether some have already been notified.

Yep heard this morning. I was told my offer was conditional on achieving a high 2:1 (68%), who my supervisor was and that I had to accept my offer by 3rd April. They said news on my college and funding would follow

CANT BELIEVE IT UK/EU student averaging at 70% have my supervisor but nothing on college or funding.

I can't believe it!!

To the poster below: Don't assume anything. Some people claim it's coming this week, some claim it's been postponed to next week because of strikes.

I have been offered position for the DPhil Program however without funding. Could anyone please let me know what is the possibility of getting a scholarship for DPhil after department has sent an offer (international student outside EU). It seems that departmental scholarships were sent along with the offer letter. Thanks.

To the poster below asking about MSc in CS: I am an undergrad in computer science at an overseas university, ranked quite high in the cohort but not much research experience (no publication). Want to specialise in AI. LoRs from my supervisor of final year dissertation and other lecturers. Application submitted a few days before Jan deadline, received invitation to interview mid-Feb, and interviewed on Mar 1 with a lecturer with theory background. How about you?

To the OII poster - I am in the same boat. Was interviewed on 23Feb and waiting to hear. Programme coordinator said all results will be out on 16March. A poster on TSR said that funding nominations will be submitted today and tomorrow, so I guess by Friday we'll hear of a decision. Hopefully there are two spots for us. GL

Hi, I got my offer a couple of hours ago, a bit earlier than expected though. No funding. I'm an international student, econ. major, lots of math and stat., solid experience in social projects, straight from undergrad. Good luck with your admission decision!
